 The Churchill
Sharing the last name of the legendary prime minister, The Churchill is a British pub now open at 45 East 28th Street near Park Avenue South. The pub offers several beers from the U.K. and starting next week will offer food choices such as fish and chips, Welsh rarebit and Scotch eggs.  Google Groups: Flatiron Neighborhood Stakeholders
A new Google Group, Flatiron Neighborhood Stakeholders, is an independent forum for Flatiron neighborhood landlords, businesses, tenants and others to share news, ideas, concerns and questions about issues affecting the immediate area. Baruch College
Registration is open for the Baruch College series of free workshops and seminars that are taught by faculty from the Zicklin School of Business. Workshops on subjects such as business plan development and starting new ventures are designed to provide a foundation for the entrepreneur. Free Walking Tours
From the site of Stanford White's infamous love nest to the story of America's first community Christmas tree, the Flatiron Partnership's free walking tours offer a unique perspective of a historic neighborhood. Expert guides spin a spellbinding narrative filled with inside information about the area's more colorful figures and its architectural wonders like the MetLife ClockTower, the Flatiron Building, and the exquisite NYS Appellate Courthouse.
The tour meets every Sunday (rain or shine) at 11:00 a.m. at the southwest corner of Madison Square Park, 23rd Street and Broadway, in front of the William Seward statue. For more information, click here.
